Projects

FlouRAS

The FluoRAS project is focused on optimizing the energy-intensive ozonation processes used in water treatment by introducing an new sensor for real-time monitoring of organic matter. By continuously measuring the concentration of organic compounds, the ozonation process can be precisely controlled and significantly reduced, potentially decreasing energy consumption by up to 30%. This sensor system is integrated with the OxyGuard Pacific monitoring and control system, as well as the digital management platform Cobália. This integration enables automated and data driven control of the ozonation process based on real-time water quality data. The complete system has undergone field trials, demonstrating promising performance. A prototype was successfully implemented on a Danish fish farm in 2025, where it today delivered promising results in terms of both energy efficiency and water quality management.
